212 FIFTH AVENUE
In early 2016, Classic Stone was awarded a $3.7M contract for the supply and installation of stonework at 212 Fifth Avenue. The ornate, century-old building in the Flatiron district has been converted into 48 luxury residences with a unique combination of modern and neo-medieval design elements.
With breathtaking views of Manhattan from all angles, the interior specification flaunts a mix of marble, limestone and granite with clean, chic lines. Some of the worlds most luxurious and sought after natural stone can be seen throughout this development.
Classic Stone worked closely with developer, Madison Equities, and interior architect, Pembrooke & Ives, during the selection and specification of materials for the kitchens, master bathrooms, secondary bathrooms and lobby. Twelve different stones were sourced from six different countries making this project extremely complicated from a supply chain perspective. Prestigious, top-grade material, such as Thassos, Calacatta Gold, Super White, and Carrara were among the stones we sourced globally.
